Covid: Trees become teaching tools as outdoor learning grows

Teachers are moving more classes outdoors because of Covid, Natural Resources Wales (NRW) has said.

The number of teachers on its outdoor courses has gone "through the roof".

About 450 enrolled in the last two months - compared to 350 for the whole of last year.

Teachers said educating pupils in nature "releases the stress of masks and social distancing" in the classroom.
