Covid: Why rinks opening in Wales is on ice
As Covid restrictions ease, ice rinks will be able to reopen from Saturday.
But Ice Arena Wales in Cardiff will not be re-opening their doors until 1 August.
"It's probably a six-week process end to end," said Cardiff Devils team consultant Neil Francis, adding it had been started some time ago as a "gamble".
"We have to make sure that everything's in place to make sure that it's safe for everybody to come in," he said.
