New mums' childbirth injuries being left untreated

Women are putting up with debilitating after effects of injuries caused by childbirth for up to 10 years in some cases, a surgeon has said.

The conditions include pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence and bowel dysfunction.

Now Cardiff and Vale health board has opened a new pelvic health hub which aims to offer support for women who have been affected in this way.
