Ukraine war: Refugee says she feels safe in Wales
When Russia’s invasion of Ukraine began, life changed for Marta Burak and her family immediately.
It was decided that for the sake of her daughter and grandchildren it would be best to leave the country.
Ms Burak is one of more than 220 Ukrainian refugees living at a Welsh government centre run by the Urdd youth organisation.
She said: “As soon as we stepped on this land we felt it. We are safe.”
