King Charles III: Crowds 'can't wait' to see new monarch

People among the crowds at Cardiff Castle say they "can't wait to see the King coming".

Those waiting in the queue to meet the King said they are there to pay their respects and it may be the only time they get to meet him.

"Just to pay respects to our King and his Queen Consort and hopefully shake hands with him," said one woman.

Another said: "It's history for our children and grandchildren."
