Steeltown Murders: BBC drama recreates hunt for killer

Following the brutal murders of three teenage girls in 1973, police thought they may never find the culprit.

The hunt for the "Saturday Night Strangler" lasted 30 years, until world-first DNA sampling confirmed dead man Joe Kappen was responsible.

The story of the investigation has been turned into a new four-part BBC drama series, Steeltown Murders.
