Cardiff: Thousands of bees descend on a busy shopping street

Cardiff shoppers were met with a surprise on Thursday when a swarm of bees collected on the street.

A bollard was covered in the winged insects.

This happens when a colony reproduces and the old queen leaves with some of the hive.
