Snapchat video shows death crash driver drinking at wheel

A Snapchat video shows a driver drinking behind the wheel of a car as one of the occupants says "we ain't coming home".

Passenger Dafydd Hughes, 18, from Abertysswg in Caerphilly county, died after the car crashed in May 2022.

Ricky Davies, 30, from nearby Rhymney, was jailed for eight years after admitting six charges including causing death by dangerous driving.

Dafydd's mother, Emma, told the BBC's Crash Detectives she was "still numb" after losing her son.
