M4 death crash: Moments after Newport fatal collision captured

This is the moment emergency services were called after a crash on the M4 which killed two children.

The motorway was closed as paramedics frantically performed CPR on two children after a van veered across the road.

Martin Newman, 41, drank red wine while driving and had cocaine in his system when his Ford Transit van crashed into a family's Ford Fiesta near Newport.

The family were returning from a birthday party when their car was hit by Newman on 5 February 2022.

Two children, Jayden-Lee and Gracie-Ann Lucas, died and Newman was jailed for nine years and four months after admitting two counts of causing death by dangerous driving.
