Gladiators: Meeting Hawk inspired Welsh contestant

A man from Cardiff who is competing on the Gladiators revamp says he was inspired after meeting former star Hawk.

Civil engineer Matt Jones, 41, from Cardiff, is competing in the BBC One revamp of the classic 90s show.

"Gladiators was Saturday night TV when I was a kid. Looking back I can remember vividly watching it," he said.
