Aberystwyth: Otter spotted in Ceredigion town centre
A river otter has been spotted running through a town, to the delight of people who captured its travels on video.
From back gardens to Aberystwyth town centre, the otter seemed to be enjoying its day away from its natural habitat.
Will Lewis Parker spotted the otter walking down Eastgate Street on Saturday.
"At first I thought it might be an injured cat walking funny," he said.
Darren Harries from Wales Otter Trust said otters can get caught out in bad weather during the winter months and when river levels are high.
He said the otter in the video looks like a male, or "dog", which have bigger heads than females and a larger territory.
