Jeremy Corbyn victory a phenomenon, says Owen Smith
Labour should unite and capitalise on Jeremy Corbyn's election as leader for the sake of the people, Shadow Welsh Secretary Owen Smith has said.
The veteran left-winger who joined the contest as rank outsider won a landslide victory over his three more mainstream rivals with nearly 60 percent of first preference votes.
Rachel Reeves and Tristram Hunt have said they will not serve in Mr Corbyn's shadow cabinet.
But Mr Smith said he would be happy to, calling on the party to unite behind its new leader.
