'Crisis' point for asylum hostel in Cardiff, MPs told
An MP has said managers of a Cardiff hostel for asylum seekers told her they were struggling to cope with the "crazy" numbers being sent there.
Cardiff Central MP Jo Stevens told a Westminster Hall debate that Lynx House had nearly 400 people at one point in November, more than double the number staff felt they could manage properly.
MPs are debating the handling of asylum seekers by contractors.
Ms Stevens said managers at Lynx House felt they had reached a "crisis".
