Stephen Crabb: From council house to Number 10?
Preseli Pembrokeshire MP Stephen Crabb has announced his bid to succeed David Cameron as Conservative leader and prime minister.
The work and pensions secretary said he wanted a "modern compassionate" party which would "tear down the barriers that hold people back".
Mr Crabb may face competition from more experienced and well-known candidates, but his supporters feel a man raised on a council estate in Haverfordwest by a single mother can connect with ordinary people.
