Valleys results show lessons to be learned by Labour
Labour needs to re-connect with its lost voters in the south Wales valleys, a former Welsh government minister has said.
Leighton Andrews lost his Rhondda seat to Plaid Cymru leader Leanne Wood at the assembly election in May.
He also said he was sorry to see valleys communities turn against EU membership, contributing to the victory for Brexit in the June referendum.
He gave his personal view of the party's plight in a special film for the BBC's Sunday Politics Wales programme.
