Early election 'for good of country', Andrew RT Davies says

The early general election set to be held on 8 June is for the 'good of the country', Welsh Conservative leader Andrew RT Davies has said.

Mr Davies spoke after Prime Minister Theresa May announced that she wanted to trigger a poll a month after local elections.

He said said Mrs May was offering a "choice" to voters to vote for a "strong leader" and said others represented "chaos and confusion".
