Some UKIP members not keen to stand says party AM

Some UKIP members are put off from standing in council elections because of how it might look like on their CVs, a party AM has said.

Gareth Bennett said UKIP did "struggle sometimes compared to the other parties" in finding candidates for council elections.

The party is fielding 80 in this year's Welsh local elections, which he said was "pretty good for us compared to where we were five years ago in Wales".
