UKIP's Gareth Bennett defends transgender comments as 'robust debate'
UKIP's Gareth Bennett has said he will not apologise for comments about transgender rights which has resulted in a ban on him speaking in the Welsh Assembly.
He had said in a Senedd debate that society could implode if there was too much "deviation from the norm".
Presiding Officer Elin Jones said those comments were "particularly hateful".
Mr Bennett has questioned her right to ban him from speaking until he withdraws the remarks.
