Bus lane proposal: Safety 'paramount' for lorries and cyclists
Haulage company boss Terry Hicks from Caldicot, Monmouthshire, has said he would welcome the idea of letting lorries use bus lanes under certain conditions.
The Welsh Government has confirmed it is being considered after traffic commissioner Nick Jones recommended it as a measure to tackle congestion in urban areas.
Transport charity Sustrans has voiced concern, but Mr Hicks said safety was paramount for his drivers.
