Tidal lagoon impact on fish 'minimal'
The company behind the Swansea Bay tidal lagoon has told BBC Wales the impact of the £1bn project on migrating fish will be minimal.
Speaking to Oliver Hides on Good Morning Wales, Andrew McNaughton said the company had worked for several years with independent experts on the environmental impact of the lagoon.
Mr McNaughton said the impact on migrating fish would be manageable and "minimal".
He also rejected suggestions they had overlooked British firms in favour of a Chinese company as the main builder, saying none of the UK firms had the necessary experience.
