Russia launches Phobos-Grunt unmanned probe
Russia has launched an unmanned probe on a three-year mission to return samples of rock from Phobos, a moon of Mars.
The Phobos-Grunt spacecraft blasted off from the Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
The return vehicle is expected to carry up to 200g of soil back to Earth in August 2014.
