Journalists Marie Colvin and Remi Ochlik die in Homs

Two western journalists have been killed in the latest violence in the city of Homs.

American Marie Colvin, a veteran war correspondent with the Sunday Times newspaper in Britain, and Remi Ochlik, a French photojournalist, were victims of what appears to have been a mortar attack on a building in the city

Several other people were reportedly killed when the shell hit the makeshift media centre in the Baba Amr area.
