UN says new refugee sites in South Sudan needed urgently

The UN says the world's newest nation will need over $1bn (£620m) to meet the growing humanitarian needs in the coming year.

A new influx of refugees from the fighting in the Nuba Mountains is now pouring into the biggest refugee camp on the border between South Sudan and Sudan at Yida.

The UN says new sites for the refugees must be found urgently.
