Indian LGBT community holds its first Pride March in Gujarat

India's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community held its first ever gay pride parade in the western state of Gujarat.

Organisers hope the event - which coincided with the launch of the global UN campaign "Free and Equal" in support of equality for the LGBT - will help make people more tolerant and accepting of the area's LGBT community.

Neha Bhatnagar reports.
