London slavery case: 'Disturbing picture of emotional control' - Met Police

Detectives investigating the case of three women allegedly held as slaves for 30 years in south London have described the control their captors held over them as "invisible handcuffs".

The women, aged 69, 57 and 30, were rescued in Lambeth in October. A couple in their sixties who were arrested on Thursday have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

Police searching the house have removed 55 bags of potential evidence.
