How snow globes came to be
Snow globes are a common sight at Christmas, and at one factory in Vienna they are still produced by the family that claims to have invented them over 100 years ago.
The owner, Erwin Perzy III, has grown up surrounded by fake snow - the recipe for which has been handed down through three generations.
And as he prepares to hand the business over to his daughter, it remains a closely guarded secret - even from her.
BBC News went to the factory to find out more.
