Inside Bagram's high security jail

The Afghan authorities have released 65 prisoners, many of whom the United States say are linked to the killing of international peacekeepers and Afghan troops.

Washington believes the men are highly dangerous insurgents and wants them to stand trial.

It says their release violates an agreement signed last year when the US handed over control of Bagram prison.

But the Afghan government's argument is that these men are innocent and will be radicalised if they stay in jail.
