Ukraine crisis: Ceasefire holding but 'very fragile'

There is uncertainty over whether a ceasefire between government forces and pro-Russian rebels in eastern Ukraine is holding.

Both sides have made unconfirmed claims that the deal announced by Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko at the Nato summit in Wales, has been breached by their opponents.

The EU has agreed further sanctions against Russia, but said they could be avoided if the ceasefire is observed and Russia withdraws any troops it has in Ukraine.
