Ebola crisis: Fears quarantine could deter Ebola workers

The US ambassador to the United Nations is to visit the three West African countries which have been worst hit by the Ebola outbreak.

Samantha Power said she hoped the trip would lead to more support for an international response to the virus.

The World Health Organisation says more than 10,000 people have contracted Ebola - nearly half of them have died.

A nurse quarantined in the US after returning from West Africa has criticised her treatment, saying the new restrictions could put off other aid workers.
