Auschwitz anniversary: Working next door

With 1.1 million visitors last year alone, the former concentration camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau should be a vital part of the economy of the Polish city of Oswiecim.

But few of the tourists come to the city itself and many of the people who work there come from across Poland.

Anna Lopuska is a conservator at the camp who moved to Oswiecim to work here. She told her story to the BBC's Stephanie Hegarty.
