Fifa: 'No apology, no compensation' over Qatar decision

World football's governing body, Fifa, says it won't pay compensation to European clubs unhappy about plans to play the 2022 Qatar World Cup in November and December.

Fifa's secretary general, Jerome Valcke, also said no apology was necessary for the re-scheduling of the tournament, which will severely disrupt a number of European leagues.
