Sperm whale rescued by fishermen in Japan

A 10m sperm whale stranded on a beach in western Japan has been rescued by local fishermen.

A small fishing boat and rope were used to help it back out to sea.

The mammal had suffered injuries to its head and body - which is believed to be the reason it drifted near the shore.
