Greats of the Games: Emil Zatopek's Helsinki Olympics

With the Rio Olympics beginning in four days, there is one achievement which will not be matched or even attempted.

In 1952, Emil Zatopek ran in three longest distance races - 5,000m, 10,000m and the Marathon - and won them all.

The Czech ran carrying an expression of utter pain and, in the process, brought pleasure to the world.

David Eades reports.
