Joy for Syrian refugee family as daughter graduates

In 2014 Lyse Doucet got to know a Syrian family living in desperate conditions in war-torn Damascus. That family - the Sabbaghs - now live as refugees in Canada.

While reporting from Toronto Lyse was unexpectedly reunited with the Sabbagh family. This summer, the eldest daughter graduated from junior school. The family invited Lyse to be there too.
