Boris Johnson told the BBC that problems over the Northern Ireland Protocol occupied "a vanishingly small proportion of our deliberations" at the G7 summit.

He was speaking after The Telegraph newspaper reported that France's President Macron told the Mr Johnson on Saturday that Northern Ireland was not a full part of the UK.
