The BBC looks at Uganda's poverty and health projects

Global inequality could lead to increasing social unrest. The warning comes from the former UN Secretary-General, Kofi Annan who is one of the architects of the UN Millennium Goals.

Mr Annan's comments came as more than 140 world leaders met at the UN to discuss progress towards halving world poverty by 2015.

But how much has been achieved so far?
