Ex DR Congo rebel leader Bemba war crimes trial begins

The former Congolese rebel leader, Jean Pierre Bemba, is to go on trial in The Hague.

Mr Bemba will appear before the International Criminal Court to face five charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The former Congolese vice president is the most high-profile figure to go on trial at the court since it began its work eight years ago.
