Ivory Coast election results torn up

A supporter of Ivory Coast's president has ripped up the first published results of the country's elections, preventing the electoral commission from announcing them.

Damana Adia Pickass, who represents President Laurent Gbagbo, grabbed and tore up the results as Bamba Yacouba tried to read them out to awaiting journalists.

Mr Pickass claimed the results had not been confirmed by the electoral body.
