Libya waits for Gaddafi's next move

The Libyan government says its forces have held off an attack by rebels on Zawiyah, a key town in western Libya. A spokesman said rebel resistance had been eliminated.

Meanwhile, Libyan state television has broadcast new pictures of Colonel Gaddafi playing chess with the World Federation president, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov.
