BBC reporter witnesses fighting on the Somali front line

A militant Islamist group in Somalia is fighting to topple the government, and take full control of the country.

Al-Shabab is a rebel force with close links to al-Qaeda, and has banned most international aid agencies.

The few Western journalists who venture there usually go with the protection of the African Union.

The BBC's Peter Greste has been to the front line in Mogadishu, where the fighting between al-Shabab and the African Union continues.
