Refugees worry about South Sudan return

On 9 July Africa's biggest country will formally split into two independent states, the Republic of Sudan and South Sudan.

Decades of fighting have left South Sudan's infrastructure in tatters. With the return of millions of displaced southerners, there is a pressing need for reconstruction.

But thousands of southern Sudanese refugees who fled to Kenya during the period of unrest still have no desire to return.
