Nato Secretary General: Gaddafi must leave power
Nato Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen has said that the mission in Libya has been extended for another three months and will continue to be extended for as long as necessary.
In an interview with the BBC's Chris Morris, Mr Rasmussen said the Gaddafi-led Libyan government should not try to "wait Nato out".
The secretary general defended the pace of the mission saying he was not surprised it had taken this long. He said Nato has the necessary resources and was "prepared to continue the operation for as long as it takes".
