Libyan minister vows 'legal action' as UK expels diplomats

Col Muammar Gaddafi's Deputy Foreign Minister, Khaled Kaim, has said the decision to recognise the Libyan rebel council is "illegal" and "irresponsible".

William Hague has said the UK will recognise the National Transitional Council, as Gaddafi-regime diplomats are expelled.

The Libyan charge d'affaires was called to the Foreign Office earlier to be told he and other diplomats must leave.
