UN chief Ban Ki-moon: Time for Libyans to unite
Libyan rebels have tightened their grip on Tripoli, with rebel commanders saying they have taken control of about 80% of the capital.
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said that events in Libya marked a "hopeful moment", but also warned that there were "risks ahead".
Speaking in New York, Mr Ban called on Libyans to focus on national unity and reconciliation. He also pledged that the UN was posed to assist with "any requests Libya may make for post-conflict assistance".
