Libya: Inside Gaddafi's underground fortress

The BBC has gained access to the network of tunnels used by Col Gaddafi inside his compound.

Describing them as an "underground fortress", the team found abandoned supplies and a motorised cart that could have been used to transport Col Gaddafi through the tunnels.

In the compound above ground, dead bodies lay where they fell, as Orla Guerin reports.
