Gaddafi address: 'Do not leave Tripoli to the rats'

Col Gaddafi has released a defiant address to his supporters, urging them to "take to the streets and fight".

As rebels search the underground network of tunnels at his compound, Col Gaddafi surprised people by releasing an address in which he described the rebel fighters as "rats" and promised: "Nato will retreat back... to hell with Nato".
