Libya water shortages: 'The price we have to pay for liberation'

The arrival of food, water and other supplies in Tripoli by road and sea has eased the plight of residents but most homes are still without running water and the power supply is sporadic.

International organisations are calling for a concerted effort to return the capital to normal.

But Triploli resident Bassem al-Mansuri told the BBC that water and electricity shortages in Libya were "the price we have to pay for liberation".
