Libyan forces 'capture' last Gaddafi stronghold

Reports from Libya are suggesting transitional government forces have captured the last positions held by Col Muammar Gaddafi's loyalists.

Some force commanders said they have driven the last supporters from the former leader's hometown, Sirte. But other reports from the scene say the fighters are still involved in fighting.

The BBC's Caroline Hawley says there has not yet been any confirmation from the new Libyan government about these reports.
