Mahmoud Jibril: 'Colonel Gaddafi hit by crossfire'
The bullet wound to Colonel Gaddafi's head, that he received after he was captured, was the cause of crossfire between revolutionary forces and loyalist supporters, according to the Libyan prime minister.
Mahmoud Jibril said Gaddafi was in good health when he was first pulled out of his hiding place in a drainage pipe.
However, there was an exchange of fire when the former Libyan leader was put on a pick-up truck, and Mr Jabril said that was when the former Libyan leader, "was injured with a shot to his head".
