Nigeria's Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala nominated for World Bank job

Next week all the three candidates to be president of the World Bank will be interviewed for the job.

The favourite remains the Korean-born American Jim Yong Kim. He has backed by the Americans and they traditionally get to hold the post.

Nigeria's Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has the backing of some former world bank employees.

She told the BBC's Mark Lobel that she is honoured by the nomination and agrees it should be opened up to different candidates.
